most popular props in a boudoir shoot

While many of my favorite images are just close-ups for body parts, there's nothing wrong with adding a prop or two! It's a great way to add personality and style to make a portrait uniquely you. From my research, here's a breakdown of the most popular props women ask to use: - Fetish Items Since the explosively popular 50 Shades series, women everywhere have been exploring their dark side with whips, cuffs, leather and blindfolds. There's nothing wrong with posing with these... who knows, maybe it'll lead to some new delight in your love life? -Flowers Considerably milder than the toys above, flowers are a great way to add a natural touch of energy and delicacy to a shoot. Poets have always compared women to flowers for a reason... they're both beautiful. Flower petals in a tub, a vase next to the bed or just posing with a single bloom can make a huge impact.
-Shoes and Heels There's little in this world that a pair of heels can't fix. But they're aren't the only option, either! If you're a Nike fan, Jordan fanatic or even a sports nut, a pair of cleats or ballet slippers can scream volumes in a sexy shot. -Your Significant Other's clothing The most popular choice? A white long-sleeved button down with a tie and a pair of heels. Men love seeing that playful suggestion of possession, knowing that their woman is sexy no matter what she puts on... even if it's his. -Loved One's Interests
This one goes up there with the clothing, but in a more creative way. If he's into sports, a football or team jersey can be sexy with lace panties or, dare I say, nothing at all. Or, if he's a video game enthusiast, a vintage t-shirt and superhero panties can be irresistibly, girl-next-door hot. Motocycles and helmets, guitars , mechanic's tools or a cooking apron.... the possibilities are beautifully endless. -Jewelry Pearl necklace and chandelier earrings or woven hemp bracelets... jewelry doesn't have to be fancy to earn a place in the spotlight. If it's important to you, if it shows your character and style, that's all that's important! I've seen entire photo sessions revolve entirely around a piece of jewelry... like, for example, a diamond ring?? -Alcohol Believe it or not, a bottle of liquor can go a long way. What's more classy that a glass of wine or whiskey delicately teased from relaxed fingers? Branding can be important too, if you're strictly a Jameson type girl. If wine is your thing or whiskey is your man's passion, it adds personality on top of aesthetics. Plus, it's a great way to celebrate the end of a shoot. -Fine Fabrics Then, of course, there's probably the oldest one in the book: silks, sheers and lace. These gentle fabrics can hide just enough to be a maddening tease. By just hinting at what's under there, you can compliment the softness of your skin and drive a guy crazy.
